The families came together following the Sunday shooting of Wright, a 20-year-old Black man, who was shot and killed by police during a traffic stop in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota. Civil rights attorney Benjamin Crump, who is representing Wright’s family, held a briefing Tuesday in Minneapolis alongside the grieving relatives. Crump said Floyd’s family attended the briefing to comfort Wright’s loved ones. “This is a bittersweet moment.
