In a clip widely circulated on social media, a government administration building at the center of town is seen smoldering under a plume of smoke after a Russian assault on a number of civilian targets across the country, Ukraine said. According to a daily update posted by the General Staff of the Ukraine Armed Forces on Facebook, Russian forces have launched a series of attacks on a number of civilian targets across the country in recent days....

The video, which was posted to Twitter by Priscilla Thompson of NBC News, shows voters waiting on line at 7:30 a.m. local time, just a half-hour after early voting locations opened for the day. “LIVE LOOK at the line of people waiting to vote at 730am on NYE — the last day of early voting in Cobb County, Georgia. As a reminder, the states runoff elections will ultimately determine the balance of power in Washington DC,” Thompson wrote in the caption to her tweet....

Wallace died after being shot by police on Monday afternoon. In a video of the incident that has gone viral, Wallace can be seen in the street of a residential neighborhood as two police officers point their guns at him. The officers fired multiple shots at Wallace, who police said was holding a knife, The Philadelphia Inquirer reported. Demonstrations erupted in the city on Monday evening, continuing into the early hours of Tuesday morning....
