South Africa won this match comfortably, they bowled the visitors out 20-runs short of the 305 target. Proteas were helped by the 124 scored by Hashim Amla. Steyn took the crucial wicket of McClenaghan in the death overs to break his partnership with Adam Milne. This wicket dashed whatever hopes New Zealand had of winning.
