Hart went up for a rebound and got knocked down, but happened to stick his foot out and give Seton Hall’s Angel Delgado a kick in the shins.
He then appears to step on Delgado while both players were scrambling to get up after the kick (bottom half of the screen).
Hart was assessed a flagrant foul after officials reviewed the play. Referees then compounded the confusion by sending the wrong player to the foul line for the two shots.
Seton Hall went on to win, 66-61, in overtime, snapping Villanova’s 13-game unbeaten streak one game shy of the school record.
